Brian James

Brian James is an influential British musician and songwriter, best known as the guitarist for the punk rock band The Damned. Active since the mid-1970s, James played a pivotal role in shaping the punk rock sound. He co-wrote several of the band's early hits, including “New Rose,” often regarded as one of the first punk singles released in the UK, and “Neat Neat Neat.” His aggressive guitar style and innovative songwriting contributed significantly to the band’s raw energy and distinct identity.
