Clipse

Clipse is an American hip-hop duo formed in 1992, consisting of brothers Gene "Pusha T" Thornton and Terrence "No Malice" Thornton. They are known for their distinctive style, blending Southern hip-hop with hardcore lyrics focusing on themes of drug dealing, street life, and personal struggles. Their musical genre primarily falls within hip-hop and rap. Clipse gained significant recognition with their debut album, *Lord Willin'* (2002), which featured the hit single "Grindin'," produced by The Neptunes. Their sophomore album, *Hell Hath No Fury* (2006), received critical acclaim and is often regarded as one of the best hip-hop albums of the 2000s. It solidified their reputation for sharp lyricism and innovative production. The duo's impact on music extends beyond their own work; they influenced a generation of artists with their gritty storytelling and unique sound. They helped popularize the "coke rap" subgenre and paved the way for future collaborations with top producers and artists in the industry. After a hiatus, they reunited for their 2017 album, *Fear of God*, further cementing their legacy in hip-hop culture.
