Dream Theater

Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band formed in 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band's lineup has undergone changes, but founding members John Petrucci (guitar) and John Myung (bass) have remained constants. Their genre blends elements of progressive rock, metal, and hard rock, characterized by complex compositions, virtuosic musicianship, and intricate time signatures.
