Erik Brødreskift (aka Grim)

Erik Brødreskift, known by his stage name Grim, is a Norwegian musician and vocalist prominent in the black metal genre. He gained recognition in the early 1990s as a member of the influential band Ulver, contributing to their early sound characterized by raw, atmospheric elements. Grim's distinctive growling vocals and intense performances helped shape the band’s first full-length album, "Bergtatt - Et eeventyr i 5 capitler" (1994), which is considered a landmark in the genre. Following his tenure with Ulver, Grim also performed with other notable Norwegian acts, including the black metal band Arcturus, where he contributed to the album "La Masquerade Infernale" (1997). His work is marked by a blend of traditional black metal and experimental sounds, pushing the boundaries of the genre.
