Garbage
Garbage is an American alternative rock band formed in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin. The group consists of lead singer Shirley Manson, and musicians Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, and Butch Vig, the latter of whom is also known for producing Nirvana's "Nevermind." Their music blends elements of rock, electronic, and pop, characterized by Manson's distinctive vocals and the band’s innovative production style. Garbage gained prominence with their self-titled debut album in 1995, which included hits like "Stupid Girl" and "Only Happy When It Rains." Their follow-up, "Version 2.0" (1998), solidified their success, featuring popular tracks such as "Push It" and "I Think I'm Paranoid."
