Indio Solari

Indio Solari, born Juan Carlos Indio Solari on January 17, 1949, is an influential Argentine musician and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota. Emerging from the Argentine rock scene in the late 1970s, he became a prominent figure in the genre known as rock nacional, blending elements of rock, punk, and Argentine folk music. Notable works include the albums "Oktubre" (1986), "Un baión para el ojo idiota" (1987), and "La mosca y la sopa" (1991), all of which showcase his distinctive lyrical style and socio-political commentary. After the disbandment of Los Redondos in 2001, Solari launched a successful solo career, with albums like "El perfume de la tempestad" (2004) and "Pajaritos, bravos muchachitos" (2015).
