Kizito Mihigo

Kizito Mihigo (1981-2020) was a Rwandan musician, composer, and humanitarian known for his fusion of traditional Rwandan music with gospel and contemporary styles. Mihigo's work often addressed themes of reconciliation, peace, and the aftermath of the Rwandan Genocide, reflecting his commitment to healing and unity within his country. His notable works include the album "Iby'Imana" (2010), which features songs like "Kizito" and "Tujye Iwacu," showcasing his rich vocal talent and lyrical depth.
