Mahasti, born Mahasti Batmanghelichi in 1946 in Iran, was a prominent Persian pop singer known for her emotive voice and significant contributions to Iranian music. She gained fame in the 1960s and 1970s, becoming a leading figure in the "golden age" of Persian pop.
