PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen on December 9, 1991, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his blend of hip-hop and R&B. He gained prominence in the mid-2010s with his melodic style and emotional lyrics, often focusing on themes of love and street life. His breakout single, "Selfish," released in 2017, achieved significant commercial success, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 and solidifying his place in the music industry. PnB Rock also collaborated with notable artists, including Ed Sheeran, Lil Skies, and XXXTentacion, further expanding his reach. His 2019 album, "TrapStar Turnt PopStar," showcased his versatility and included hits like "Middle Child."
