Shawn Drover

Shawn Drover is a Canadian drummer and songwriter, best known for his work in the heavy metal genre. Born on July 5, 1971, in Montreal, Quebec, he gained prominence as a member of the American metal band Megadeth, joining in 2004 and contributing to several of their albums, including "The System Has Failed" (2004), "United Abominations" (2007), and "Endgame" (2009). Drover's drumming style is characterized by technical proficiency and powerful rhythms, which helped solidify Megadeth's sound during his tenure. In addition to Megadeth, Drover has played with other notable bands, including Eidolon and Act of Defiance, the latter of which he co-founded after leaving Megadeth in 2014.
