Sirenia

Sirenia is a Norwegian metal band formed in 2001 by Morten Veland, a former member of the gothic metal band Tristania. The band's music blends elements of symphonic metal, gothic metal, and melodic death metal, characterized by atmospheric arrangements, operatic vocals, and heavy guitar riffs. Sirenia's debut album, *At Sixes and Sevens* (2002), received critical acclaim and established their presence in the metal scene. Their subsequent albums, including *An Elixir for Existence* (2004), *Nine Destinies and a Downfall* (2007), and *Arcane Astral Aeons* (2018), further showcased their evolving sound and lyricism, often exploring themes of love, loss, and existentialism.
