Slash

Slash, born Saul Hudson on July 23, 1965, is a British-American guitarist renowned for his work in rock and hard rock genres. He gained fame as the lead guitarist for the iconic band Guns N' Roses, contributing to their seminal 1987 album *Appetite for Destruction*, which features classic tracks like "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle," and "Paradise City." His signature sound, characterized by bluesy riffs and emotive solos, has made him a defining figure in rock music. After leaving Guns N' Roses in the mid-1990s, Slash pursued various projects, including the supergroup Velvet Revolver, which released the successful album *Contraband* in 2004.
