Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace is a Canadian rock band formed in 1997 in Norwood, Ontario. The group is known for its post-grunge and alternative rock sound, characterized by heavy guitar riffs, emotive lyrics, and powerful vocals. The original lineup consisted of Adam Gontier (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Neil Sanderson (drums, backing vocals), and Brad Walst (bass guitar), with guitarist Barry Stock joining later. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2003, featuring hits like "I Hate Everything About You" and "Just Like You." Their 2006 follow-up, "One-X," solidified their fame, with singles such as "Animal I Have Become" and "Pain" achieving significant radio play. In 2012, Gontier left the band, and Matt Walst took over as lead vocalist, contributing to albums like "Transit of Venus" and "Outsider." Three Days Grace has had a substantial impact on the rock genre, influencing a generation of bands with their themes of struggle, resilience, and emotional turmoil. They have received multiple Juno Awards and have consistently charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream Rock charts, establishing themselves as one of the prominent bands in modern rock.
