Unheilig

Unheilig is a German musical project formed in 2000, led by singer and songwriter Der Graf (Bürgerlicher Name: Bernd Heinrich Graf). The band's genre primarily encompasses pop rock, darkwave, and Neue Deutsche Härte, blending melodic elements with gothic and electronic influences. Unheilig gained significant popularity in the early 2010s, particularly with their album "Grosse Freiheit," released in 2010, which reached commercial success and included hit singles like "Geboren um zu leben" and "So wie du bist." Their music often explores themes of love, loss, and existential reflection, resonating with a broad audience in the German-speaking world. Unheilig's distinctive sound, characterized by Der Graf's deep vocals and atmospheric arrangements, contributed to their unique position in the German music scene.
