Suede

Suede is a British alternative rock band formed in 1989 in London, known for their significant role in the Britpop movement of the 1990s. The band consists of lead vocalist Brett Anderson, guitarist Bernard Butler, bassist Mat Osman, drummer Simon Gilbert, and later members including Richard Oakes.

Their self-titled debut album, released in 1993, was critically acclaimed and featured hits like "The Drowners" and "Animal Nitrate." Suede's sound is characterized by a blend of glam rock and post-punk, with poetic lyrics and a flamboyant aesthetic. Their follow-up album, "Dog Man Star" (1994), solidified their place in music history, showcasing Butler's guitar prowess and Anderson's theatrical vocal style.

After disbanding in 2003, Suede reunited in 2010, releasing "Bloodsports" (2013) and "The Blue Hour" (2018), which received positive reviews.
